Jan 2004: Emerging artist video and film production grant awarded by the Canada Council for the Arts for an animation entitled "Monkey and Deer"

Sept 2003: 23rd Atlantic Film Festival, Direct Joy Award for most promising new director, sponsored by the Linda Joy Media Arts Society and the Director's Guild of Canada "Don't Ride Shopping Carts"
